Ecco a voi il Pezzo italiano più famoso degli anni 80, quello di cui tutti parlavano; sì, proprio così, perché in quegli anni privi di internet e magazine, i pezzi si conoscevano unicamente attraverso il passaparola… e questo fece in fretta ad arrivare sulla bocca di tutti.
Io non l’ho mai visto con i miei occhi perché sgomberarono e ripulirono casa prima che mi appassionassi alla “parola con la G”, e questa cosa ancora mi pesa.
Anche chi fece questa foto passò a porte già murate, ma perlomeno lo vide dal vero! Io me lo sono immaginato per anni prima di avere tra le mani questa foto e invidiavo chi l’aveva potuto vedere… assurdo a pensarci ma credo che in tanti mi capiranno, o per lo meno quei tanti di cui mi interessa!
Non ho alcuna idea del significato di questo capolavoro, forse l’Indiano rappresenta la Voglia di Libertà che cerca di domare un mondo industriale che ci preferisce costretti, oppressi, ma in fondo chi se ne frega, godetevi lo spettacolo.

Il TCT di un Rusty alle prime armi stona un pochino affianco al capolavoro di Dayaki, mentre la sua tag già trasudava potenza, quella potenza che ci avrebbe abbagliato negli anni a venire…. ma è ancora presto per parlarne.

Here’s one of the most famous italian graffiti piece of the 80’s, the One that everyone talked about: yes, that’s right, the Mechanical Horse.
In those years, without internet or magazines, the pieces were known through the word of mouth … and he did this in a hurry to arrive at the mouth of all.
I’ve never seen it with my own eyes, because the squat was closed and cleaned before I started up this passion. I imagined it for years, before I saw the photo of it, and envied those who had been able to see it … isn’t it absurd? TCT done by the novice Rusty was a little bit out of place next to the Dayaki’s Masterpiece, while his tag already exuded power, the power that would have dazzled us for the years to come …. but it is still early to talk about it now.
